The Guid² is a blog about all of the U.I. (User Interfaces) that I encouter that - in my humle opinion - deserves spotlight.

You'll find here articles about GUID (Great User Interface Designs) or "GUIDable" UIs.

By U.I., I not only mean software U.I., but also U.I. about anything you interact with.
Here's examples of stuff I will talk about :

• Web Sites
• Cellular phones
• Mices
• Keyboards

But also less "techy stuffs" like

• Doorknobs (?)
• Wallets
• Hand dryers
• ... or pretty much anything you might me to take a look at ! :)

The Guid² is a participative blog.

The purpose of this site is to become a reference in GUIDs.
But I obviously can't test everything or know everything that deserves improvement in it's U.I.

Don't you ever get pissed off by some stupidely designed stuff ? Let me know ! And I'll try to contact it's designers !



The Guid²'s goal is to effectively improve U.I.s 

Here's the Guide to Guid² :

1. I will post on this blog my personnal thoughts about U.I. of something I stumble upon (or sth. that have been suggested by someone)
2. We discuss about it.
3. Few days after, I contact the designers of this U.I. and I post that mail on the blog.
4. I update on the blog the exchange with the designers as it comes (or not !)
5. Suggestion are taken in consideration and will be applied in the next versions ! (or not !)
